Szyca-Thomas Monika
Comes from a family with deep-rooted craftsmanship traditions. The roots of these traditions go back to her great-grandfather Tomasz, through her grandfather Tadeusz, who founded a locksmith and mechanical workshop in 1957 on Towarowa Street in Chojnice, and her father Tomasz, who is also a master locksmith. Monika is a self-taught designer and in 2019 she paused her psychology studies to fully devote herself to her passion for design. That same year, she founded the brand The Good Living&Co., and in 2023, she expanded its offerings to include furniture designed under The Collective Matter Studio. Both brands are the result of her love for traditional craftsmanship combined with modern and classic design.
