In the constant pursuit of time, I find moments of reflection on impermanence. I am fascinated by the impermanence of every matter, feelings, emotions... the changes and transformations we go through in life.
This is the subject matter of "Neocrystals". The transformation of the shape of crystal vessels is not only aesthetic but also symbolic. It is a dialogue with the past. The slumping technique, which I use to give new form to the vessels, allows me to create unique shapes. Each "Neocrystal" is unique and there are no two identical objects. - Katarzyna Harasym
