The object from the "Ashes to Ashes" series is made of glass and sand (the main component of glass). It was created as a result of reflection on the contemporary attitude of man towards transiency. Escaping from helplessness, we have cut ourselves off from what is inevitable and natural for all organisms. We have forgotten that we are all part of the same matter. The initial shape of the piece was made using the free-hand glass-forming method. The object was then carved by deep sandblasting and subjected to multi-layer application of quartz sand to the glass surface.
