Ashes to Ashes II no. 4

The object from the "Ashes to Ashes" series is made of glass and sand (the main component of glass). It was created as a result of reflection on the contemporary attitude of man towards transiency. The initial shape of the piece was made using the free-hand glass-forming method. The object was then carved by deep sandblasting and subjected to multi-layer application of quartz sand to the glass surface.
