"Intrinisic bond energy" is a series of plasma sculptures that are part of Kamila Mróz's doctoral thesis. The surface of the glass is an impassable barrier behind which the world is closed, consisting of selected molecules and atoms, entering into endless reactions with each other. The artist treats the glass form as a surface of contact between two worlds - a skin that allows the transmission of stimuli in both directions. The plasma sculpture, although its form once constituted is not subject to further external modifications, is able to change inside, in interaction with the environment. The possibility of affecting our own electrical potential allows us to build the impression that the light discharge reaches towards us - it lives inside its static, glass skin.
