Milczanowska’s practice is strongly connected to nature, created in the spirit of zero waste and environmental awareness. It is also a kind of ritual, an acceptance of the impossibility of controlling the elements and a surrender of the final result to nature. The artist forgoes glaze in favor of natural dyes, creating organic patterns shaped by fire and smoke. Her labor-intensive creative process, requiring hours of tending to the fire, reflects a deep connection to femininity, nature, and elemental forces.
