Ceramic artist and founder of the brand NULA. Her first series of pit-fired ceramics was created in 2022. A distinctive feature of her work is the use of natural materials and her personal involvement in every stage of the creative process. Milczanowska’s practice is strongly connected to nature, created in the spirit of zero waste and environmental awareness. It is also a kind of ritual, an acceptance of the impossibility of controlling the elements and a surrender of the final result to nature. The artist forgoes glaze in favor of natural dyes, creating organic patterns shaped by fire and smoke. Her labor-intensive creative process, requiring hours of tending to the fire, reflects a deep connection to femininity, nature, and elemental forces.
