In her art, Bielecka employs metaphor, drawing on recognizable forms and motifs embedded in and associated with specific collections of images or symbols, used to create associations and meanings. She creates small, intricate three-dimensional objects in colored glass, experimenting with and combining various glassmaking techniques. The glass sculpture ‘Impression’ was inspired by nature. The source of artist’s admiration lies in the permeating colors of flowery meadows and heathlands, while the shape of the glass is a direct result of the methods used to form the material through gravity. The artist intended to evoke associations with a withering, falling flower petal.
