The “Dzika Barć” (“Wild Beehive”) series draws on the organic structures created by wild bees in branches and tree hollows. Using hot-worked glass, the artist evokes the colour, translucency and fluidity of honey, while the collaborative process of glassmaking echoes the collective nature of a bee colony. Part of the “OD-NOWA” cycle, the series reflects on climate change and humanity’s impact on the natural environment, with fire serving as both a destructive force and a catalyst for renewal.
