The Gusts is a ceramic sculpture series started in late 2023, exploring how life-moments or memories shape us. They may challenge our boundaries or uncover hidden barriers to progress. Releasing them empowers us to move forward into the unknown. This series contrasts two structures: a tough black experimental form and a smooth layer of porcelain mixed with stoneware – inspired by Japanese nerikomi techniques. They coexist harmoniously, symbolizing the interplay of past and present.
